Action Steps: Read Psalm 71 and reflect on these three initiatives. (1) Psalm 71:5-6 speaks of God’s
faithfulness from youth. Consider how reflecting on God’s faithfulness throughout your life can strengthen your
trust in Him and relationship with Jesus as you age. (2) In Psalm 71:9, the psalmist asks not to be forsaken in
old age. Take practical steps to ensure that no one in your life feels forgotten or neglected in their later years.
(3) Psalm 71:15-18 emphasizes the significance of proclaiming God’s saving power. Make it a habit to actively
share your testimony about faith in Jesus with younger people in your life.
